Stephanie Wake-Edwards has been described as “magnificent”(The Times), “compelling” (Seen and Heard Int.), “remarkable” (Bachtrack) “one to watch”(iNews) and a “powerhouse” (The Guardian).

A graduate of the prestigious Jette Parker Young Artists Programme, Covent Garden (2019-22); Stephanie was a Glyndebourne Jerwood Young Artist in 2019, represented England in the Cardiff Singer of the world competition 2021 and was a special prizewinner in the Concours Bordeaux Médoc Lyrique, 2018.

Her many roles for ROH include 3rd Lady Die Zauberflöte, Flora La Traviata and Anna 1 Seven Deadly Sins. Recent highlights include the Messiah for Toronto Symphony, Glyndebourne Tour and Dubai Opera, her debuts with Bayerische Staatsoper and Garsington Opera (Rusalka), Hamburgische Staatsoper (Manon), Glyndebourne (Semele) and a concert appearance in Grafenegg with Fabio Biondi. Engagements for the 23/24 season and beyond include debuts with Deutsche Oper Berlin, English National Opera and a return to two role debuts with Garsington Opera.
